Provide me with the opportunity to make my life heaven on earth so that I may take it in my hands and form it as my evolving abilities will allow.

Also so that I can share it with those who I love and those who seek the knowledge to achieve the same.

-Thanks ! Michael

What do you love most about your life right now?

Posted on Jan 2nd, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 02, 2009:

Free
Right now, I love that the sun is shining in my living room and my cat Tibby who is 16 years old is sun bathing in the middle of winter.

And even moreso, that I have my health, and many paths are open for me to become the man I want to be, prosperous, unbound to any negative outside influence, and free. I hope I get to college soon, (first day of class, Jan 12) so I can work even harder.

Thank you !

What philanthropic organization would you start?

Posted on Jan 2nd, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 07, 2007:

Read
I volunteered at a place in Charleston, S.C. called Trident Literacy Center where we gave the gift of literacy to needy people who lived on the street or flunked out of high school or whatever.

So the gift i would give is books, teaching reading and writing, math. i would set up a place to gather books and give them away, like a school people could come into for free where teachers would volunteer too. Everyone would have homework assignments to keep them learning. Anyone could come in.

Knowledge for everyone for free from me !

We can help people learn skills for a job too, help them learn to support themselves!

-Thanks again,
-Michael

What was the last thing you learned how to do?

Posted on Jan 3rd, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 03, 2009:

Fire
FIRE !

Two days ago I started a fire the MANLY way of the ancients, with a bow, a spindle, a baseboard, and a press. I spun that spindle until smoke started pouring out of the baseboard and transfered the embers to some dried pine needles and viola! I HAVE CAUSED FIRE ! ! !

I looked up at the SUN of God and proclaimed, "I have your power in my hands, and it is good."

If I run out of matches or cannot find a lighter or magnifying glass, I can use this method. Wilderness survival and triumph of history ! ! ! !  ! ! ! ! !

-Thanks, bye

What would you print on our currency?

Posted on Jan 3rd, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 12, 2007:

Gold
I would print :

100 % backed by gold by 100% reserves
Truth
Freedom
Life

Because fractional reserve banking is in practice today AND it is responsible for SO MUCH FRAUD and counterfeiting that everyday wealth is being consolidated

keep in mind that 401k money is never lost but merely transfered

wealth is being consolidated

that why I preach NON SUPPORT of these organisations, The Federal Reserve, which is neither truly Federal and does not have true 100% reserves.

What would you like to celebrate?

Posted on Jan 6th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 06, 2009:

Chickadee
My cousin Noah was born last night, Jan 5 at 10:13 pm, that I can celebrate! Life! New life! and love! The more, the better! He's 8lbs 11 oz 22in long, what a big guy huh!

Something I celebrate everyday by love and practice is free speech, reading and writing, thinking, everyday. I'm going to research and write many books in my life. I work towards that goal everyday.

And hopefully i'll be in college next monday!

-Thanks,
Michael

Where do you find the sacred in your life?

Posted on Jan 7th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 07, 2009:

In my life, I use my senses and observe what is around me, namely nature, and that is sacred and gives me great comfort. The immense possibilities and miracles of nature are what I see everyday and invest in my limitless potential. Nature, to be commanded, must be obeyed.

In me, the sacred is my freedom, my consciousness, and my philosophy. I know that I have control over my life and other people can only offer me advice.

I know that existence exists, that I have a rational morality with great respect to the living, that reason is my greatest means to prosperity, and that my life is lived for complete self-interest for happiness and productive achievement as my greatest moral quest.

Yes, we have the ability to suffer to benefit from it. How can I stop the suffering? Then we make pleasure and happiness.

If you had to pick another religion to practice, what would it be

Posted on Jan 12th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 12, 2009:

Atlas
None. I practice no religion. I know that religion is the opiate of the masses. When they could be doing something constructive like objectively learning to better their lives they are instead praying and believing in magic. This is absurd. Show me magic and I might believe, but not today.

Man must rely on reason and their senses to make do in this world, not on mysticism and magic, which are not sensible. Religion is the great crippler of mankind. Religious people rely merely on heresay of other men's revelations that wre exclusive to them. So, is it more probable that a man shall have a revelation, or that he should lie? Easy answer.

Religions are mere myths to me, and I will always know this. All religious texts have been in the hands of tyrants for centuries and could have been modified to control societies many times.

No religion for me, I rely on philosophy, freedom, my own mind is my "church."

The evidence is the GLORIOUS RENAISSANCE, when men of ability in Europe disobeyed religion and discovered many sciences. Because man went against religion, today we live ten times better than the kings of their age.

I know that man is his own "God" and man is a hero. Intelligent men need no religion to rule them, they are free.

What has your recent relationship to money been like?

Posted on Jan 13th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 13, 2009:

End_the_fed_web1
An Illusion.

The fiat currecny we have in the U.S.A. is counterfeited by banks and lent out on interest by the fraudulent federal reserve(which is neither federal nor has 100% reserves). Our money is created out of thin air, backed only by our "faith" in it. I am an advocate for gold and silver and other specie forms of currency, not worthless paper that is always open to massive inflation, or the creation of money, that lowers its buying power.

So, currently, I hate our money with a passion and I have already made the choice of exposing this fraudulent federal reserve as the sadistic monoploy that it is and suggesting a specie alternative.

Paper is worthless and is at the mercy of the federal reserve's printing press. They more they print, they less it is worth, the more you and I have to work for bread.....and so on until we are all starving.

Read "Banking and Currency and the Money Trust" by August Lindbergh(the aviators father, congressmen) and "The Case Against the Fed" by Murray Rothbard. Also read up on Ron Paul's monetary policies, such as H.R. 2755.

What question would you most like answered?

Posted on Jan 15th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael

My audience would be an individual, and as many individuals as I could find.

"Can you make your own heaven on earth or your own hell? Which would you rather have?

Why would I ask this? Becuase I know the answer.

Yes, we can make a heaven on earth for ourselves, and we all would rather have a heaven than a hell.

So I say to you, go make your heaven, live for today and tomorrow, be happy, fearless, painless, and enjoy life.

How could your life be more balanced?

Posted on Jan 16th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 16, 2009:

Pondhockey
I have a simple answer.

Right now I am in college and am always thinking very intelligently and am exhausted at the end of the day. This is great! But I am forgetting physical activity.

Yes, I do walk all over campus, but fortunately, here at UMaine, there is a place for POND HOCKEY!!!!!!! I MUST VISIT THIS POND AS SOON AS I CAN TAKE A BREAK FROM MY INTELLECTUAL RESPONSIBILITIES!!!!!!!

Oh how I love ice hockey....so much......my body needs to be back in shape, and I can do this quickly, becuase I am young and very strong.

So, this is what I must do! It is required! I will accept nothing less! What is a superior intellect without a superior and fit body? BLAH BLAH is what it is !

Thank You!

What do you have the hardest time accepting?

Posted on Jan 17th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 17, 2009:

Life
That there are people in this world who desire to remain ignorant and never better themselves.

There are people who want to destroy the environment. There are people who don't think that there is world outside of themselves.

This disturbs me. Humans must work together to provide for their posterity.

I also HATE the fact that religious wars have killed millions. They are essentially fighting over whose magical and mystical myths will be in charge of the earth. This is bullshit.

My mind is my own "church."

I also do not accept that we have a democracy in the U.S.A. I think it is over. So is capitaism(laissez-faire).

This is not a free country by any means, a majority vote is tyranny.

Thank you,

Michael W. Gibson

Pause for a moment. What do you notice?

Posted on Jan 18th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 18, 2009:

Reasonbran
I notice that I exist.

Also, that there are countless other things around me that exist.

This is no illusion, I know this.

A is A.

What does this mean?

That I am a conscious being who can and does affect my surroundings in which ever way I wish.

A material world is what I sense around me, governed by laws that we must learn and obey.

What a great question of the day, Thank You !

How do you deal with fear?

Posted on Jan 19th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 19, 2009:

Funny-pictures-cute-fierce-kitten
Fear is just an emotion, and like all emotions, it can be controlled.

So, we have nothing to fear but fear itself. Brain power can ease fear, and that is what I do.

I think I can do this because I am not afraid to die. I look at death as just something that happens as part of life, although an end to it, but it has to happen someday, so I am not very scared.

I see leaves falling from tree in the fall, I see roadkill on the side of the road, I see fake death in tv shows, I read in novels about death and murder, war, poverty, and I see war and anarchism in the news; Death surrounds us but I look at the Life moreso.

Thank you,

Can you create something beautiful just by looking?

Posted on Jan 20th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 20, 2009:

I cannot really create anything out of thin air materially, but I can inside of my head create anything with my imagination.

I can only create something materially if I obey the laws of nature and work with nature. I do not have magical powers.

As for beauty, I do know of universal beauty, of one beauty, but applied to individual things. I can see the beauty in death, suffering, and in pleasure.

Mind power.

Gifted people of the world....

                             Rise.

When were you last completely dependent on someone?

Posted on Jan 21st, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 21, 2009:

When I was hopelessly in love.

That was....four years ago? Since then I have learned to love myself above all and have a very high level of self-confidence and that I know I can make it on my own. I've had realtionships since then but have not committed becuase I knew they were deterrents in the way of my self-interest and may have made me alter my course.

My love must be as free
as is the eagles wing
hovering o'er land and sea
and everything
-H.D. Thoreau

I think I was a little at fault because I dared to and was willing, and I did, love another person more than I loved myself, and then when I lost that person it was devastating, but at the same time, I siezed the opportunity to chart a new course in my life and make my life about me and focus on my dreams, living my dreams, and not the dreams of a lost relationship.

I'm well on my way to achieving my dreams and would be more open to an involved relationship, but still I like to be single, and I also like interaction and relationships. Sometimes we get too involved and we become dependent on others for happiness when we should always be happy to be alive and free in america.

But again, I think I could love another person more than I love myself, but I will do this if and only if that person I find is like me and can realize their dreams and not have them altered by this type of true love. We must both be able to live our dreams and love each other, challenge each other, and help each other live our dreams.

What do you most want to know and understand?

Posted on Jan 25th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 25, 2009:

I wish I could understand people who voted for Obama. Well, I do understand them, but why would they vote for such a terrible person? He's got no real solutions to our problems, he's already started making things worse.

Obama voters generally are very uneducated about the real issues and they voted for him in blind faith.

I am very displeased, why would anyone bother voting if they don't know his stands on all issues?? What a waste!!!!

Thanks again america......(sarcasm)

Thanks,

What does your intuition sound like?

Posted on Jan 29th, 2009 by Michael : consciousness Michael
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 29, 2009:

Intuitions do not exist. You are either conscious or you are unconscious. Intuitions are fallacies, merely whims, like so called instincts, when they actually only exist from the adaptation of experience.

People are born as blank slates, Tabula Rasa, and they lean how to live on their way. If people try to rely on non-existent things such as revelation, intuition, instinct, human nature, they will be unsuccessful.

If they rely on learned knowledge and axperience, they will put themselves on the right path for success.

Intuitions are as damaging as emotions. Imagine if everyone acted solely on emotions, or immediate responses, everyone would be acting contrary to reason and violence would reign, much like it does today.

People need to rely on knowledge and experience instead and be self-aware and in control of their emotions.

That is what I know and that is why I am a successful person who is actualizing his potential.
